Vintage mid-century modern sterling silver brooch featuring a sculptural butterfly amid pine branches with detailed pine cones. Heavily cast openwork design with excellent depth and organic movement. Marked “STERLING" near the clasp and fitted with a secure locking safety clasp. Unmarked as to maker, consistent with American studio silver jewelry from the 1950s–1960s. Pine cone imagery traditionally symbolizes longevity and renewal, making this a striking and meaningful statement piece.
Measures about 2 1/4 inches in diameter and weighs about 20 grams.
